Since late 2003 Adelaide has developed Roadwise in conjunction with the Institute of Advanced Motorists to increase road safety awareness and improve driver skills on our roads.

 IAM (Institute of Advanced Motorists)
Since Adelaide got involved in safety we realised that the benchmark for developing driving and/or riding skills was the IAM test. Not only do we encourage all our customers to take the test it is Adelaide policy that all employees are offered and persuaded to do so. In fact no employee of Adelaide is allowed to drive or ride in connection with their work unless they have passed their IAM test. For more information

BikeSafe
As the premier motorcycle insurance provider in Northern Ireland, Adelaide Insurance Services invested in the safety of their customers by getting involved with Bifesafe in the late 1990's. BikeSafe is a safety initiative through which Adelaide and the P.S.N.I. hope to improve the riding skills of motorcyclists province-wide through a short assessment of skills in key areas, with positive feedback on areas that may need it. The added benefit of the assessment is that successful candidates, showing a high enough standard to be awarded a BikeSafe certificate, will also be entitled to enhanced discounts off their motorcycle insurance with Adelaide.
